The picturesque city of Copenhagen is the site of the upcoming 50th Anniversary ESHG conference, taking place May 27 – 30, 2017.
Not only can you at any time find us at booth #330, we also have an exciting workshop planned that demonstrates how the BlueBee genomics platform complements the RNA-Seq gene expression analysis kit QuantSeq 3′ mRNA-Seq from Lexogen and can help you make sense of your data.
This workshop will focus on the fully automated QuantSeq data analysis pipeline from BlueBee – included with the purchase of the kit – via the highly secured, collaborative and cloud-based BlueBee genomics platform.
Where: Berlin room
When: from 3pm to 4:30pm on Sunday May 28th
Title: Complete and cost-efficient solution for differential gene expression analysis with RNA-Seq: from library prep to automated data analysis results.
Presenters: Birgit Steinmetz, Product Manager at Lexogen, Markus Dueringer, Director of Sales at BlueBee, Yuka Kawasawa, Director, Penn State College of Medicine Genome Sciences and Bioinformatics Core Facility.
Yuka’s abstract: “Penn State College of Medicine Genome Sciences and Bioinformatics Core Facility adopted Lexogen’s QuantSeq 3’ mRNA-Seq in mid 2016 as an attractive alternative for genome-wide gene expression profiling. In addition to its robust performance and cost-efficient workflow, the integrated free access to BlueBee’s analysis platform adds up tremendous value since the bioinformatics analysis is always the bottleneck for most of the research labs. This pro- vides a great opportunity to remove the barriers between the bio- informatics core and biologists. We have implemented BlueBee platform to our QuantSeq workflow and compared its performance with our in-house command-line pipelines. I will present how our ‘real-world’ human transcriptome data is comparable be- tween BlueBee platform and in-house pipelines. The integration of QuantSeq and BlueBee platforms will be a game changer in the field of gene expression profiling.”
If you are attending the ESHG you can register here for the workshop.
Connect with us before the conference to arrange a meeting so we can better guide you through our solutions that specifically meet your analysis needs – we may even be able to help you test run your own data on the platform while at the conference.
