Structural Variants, Bluebee reference pipeline

A Bluebee reference pipeline to discover Structural Variants at single nucleotide resolution.

Whole Genome Sequencing, Bluebee reference pipeline

Bluebee’s Whole Genome Sequencing pipeline uses BWA-MEM and GATK core algorithms for genome alignment and variant calling.

Exome Sequencing, Bluebee reference pipeline

Bluebee’s Exome Sequencing pipeline uses BWA-MEM and GATK core algorithms for exome alignment and variant calling.

RNASeq, CECAD validated pipeline

DKFZ Case study

The German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg, Germany is one of the largest data analysis centres in the International Cancer Genome Consortium (ICGC). DKFZ takes on the challenge of sequencing tumour samples to find mutated regions in the patient’s cancer genomes which can be targeted more efficiently with available drugs.

Bluebee Platform

Next-generation sequencing (NGS) based applications have proven to be disruptive within the clinic as well as in research. In contrast to conventional diagnostic tests, a single NGS test can identify thousands of genetic variants at once. The frequent, and still increasing, usage of NGS- based applications, resulted in the generation of mass data volumes.

Bluebee BWA-MEM Accelerator

Analysis of NGS data is a very time consuming process because of the large amounts of data being generated. A typical input data size is in the order of hundreds of gigabytes.
