Last week we went to Boston for the Bio-IT World Conference 2016. The three days of the conference were packed with great exposure for BlueBee, exciting talks and excellent networking opportunities. Our booth was a busy place to be and to engage with our team of seven experts about the show, the current market view of cloud-based genomics applications and on how we achieve efficient acceleration with our platform.
We had two speakers in the conference tracks:
Hans Cobben, BlueBee’s CEO was presenting along with Michelle Munson, President, CEO and Co-founder of Aspera, about How BlueBee and Others Solve the file exchange problem for Bioinformatics. The co-presentation acted as a highlight to our strategic partnership with Aspera for high-speed file transfer solutions. A partnership that was announced at the time of the show and covered by the BioIT16 media channel.
Kurt Florus, BlueBee’s CTO presented in Track 5: Bioinformatics on how a Cloud-based HPC Platform Accelerates Genome Analysis. The presentation included case studies highlighting how our customers benefit from using BlueBee’s high-performance genomics platform.
The Bio-IT World Conference is a must-attend conference that unites 3,000+ life sciences, pharmaceutical, clinical, healthcare, and IT professionals from more than 30 countries. With 170+ exhibitors, the exhibition hall was a buzzing floor with expert companies to meet. For the technically savvy professionals, 13 different tracks were available to suit every expert in the field.
BlueBee will be exhibiting next year in May where there will be less of a chance to experience a snowy Boston weather. Thanks to all who stopped by our booth it was a pleasure to chat with you.
